Cybersecurity for Executives

Leadership learning for boards and executive teams on cyber and AI risk: accountability, proportionate decisions, incident leadership and responsible AI adoption.

Who it's for

Board members, directors and senior leaders without a technical background. Available as two private packages.

Learning outcomes

  • Recognise the cyber and AI risks most relevant to your organisation
  • Understand leadership roles before, during and after an incident
  • Set practical governance and accountability for AI adoption
  • Ask sharper questions of security teams, suppliers and AI vendors

Curriculum

What the course covers.

  1. 01

    The risk picture

What cyber risk actually looks like for an organisation of your size and sector — without jargon.

  2. 02

    Accountability & governance

Who owns what, what good oversight looks like and how board papers should report it.

  3. 03

    Practical AI governance

Approving use cases, named owners, human review points and when to pause or stop.

  4. 04

    Vendor & model dependence

Questions to ask about data use, model changes, lock-in and exit before you depend on an AI supplier.

  5. 05

    Agent permissions

What AI agents may read, change or send — and who approves widening those permissions.

  6. 06

    Deepfake-aware leadership

Verification routines for unusual payment, data or instruction requests that appear to come from leaders.

  7. 07

    Incidents & leadership

The decisions that land on leadership in the first hours of an incident, rehearsed calmly.

  8. 08

    Adoption accountability

How leaders measure whether AI adoption is safe and worthwhile, and who answers for it.
